Biography

I am Subrata Mitra. I was born on 12th April in 1991 at a small village named Chowberia near Bongaon located in North 24 Parganas of West Bengal. My parents are Sushil Kumar Mitra and Chhaya Rani Mitra. I did my early education from Chowberia FP school and after that I completed my Secondary and Higher Secondary education from Chowberia Dinabandhu Vidyalaya (HS) in 2006 and 2008 in first division respectively. I did my graduation degree from Barasat Govt. College in Geography (Hons) with a first class in 2011. My post graduation degree was completed in Geography from West Bengal State University with a first class in 2013. I did my M. Phil degree in Oceanography and Coastal Management in 2020. Now I am pursuing my PhD degree in Geography from Adamas University. Professionally I was engaged as a guest lecturer at Netaji Satabarshiki Mahavidyalaya from 2014 to 2020 and now I am working at the same college as a State Aided College Teacher from 2020 to till date.
