Biography

Dr. Shree Chatterjee currently holds the position of Assistant Professor (Stage II) in the Department of Education at Netaji Satabarshiki Mahavidyalaya. She earned her undergraduate degree from Sarsuna College, under the University of Calcutta, in 2010, followed by a Master’s degree in Education in 2012 and a B.Ed. from the same university. She qualified the UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) in 2013 and the State Eligibility Test (SET) in 2014. In 2021, she was awarded a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Calcutta for her research titled “Moral Judgement and Environmental Awareness of Student Teachers.”Dr. Chatterjee’s scholarly interests span a broad range of interdisciplinary domains, including moral judgement, environmental psychology, peace and value education, and cultural studies. With over a decade of academic and teaching experience, she has actively contributed to the field through research publications, book chapters, and presentations at numerous national and international seminars and conferences.
